Abstract: Shotgun survey sequences of flow-sorted individual rye chromosomes were data mined for the presence of simple sequence repeats (SSR). For 787,850 putative (SSR) loci a total of 358,660 PCR primer pairs were designed. They relate to 51,138 non-redundant SSR marker candidates which were evaluated by in silico PCR. The document holds an excel file listing all in silico predicted primer pairs sorted for their chromosome assignment. The data is presented in 8 work sheets: 1) summary table, 2) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 1R, 3) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 2R, 4) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 3R, 5) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 4R, 6) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 5R, 7) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 6R, 8) in silico predicted SSR primers for chromosome 7R.
