Abstract: This dataset contains phenotypic characteristics of 1,420 lines of the wild barley nested association mapping population HEB-25 (Maurer et al. 2015, DOI: 10.1186/s12864-015-1459-7). All phenotypic values were evaluated visually according to published methods (Lancashire et al. 1991, DOI:10.1111/j.1744-7348.1991.tb04895.x). Field trials were conducted in 2014 and 2015 in Dundee, UK, and Halle, Germany, under two nitrogen (N) fertilisation treatments, N0 and N1.
